Membership Requirements
Membership is available to all who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. We require personal attendance of fellowship and recommendation from those who are already members. For believers who have relocated, a Pastoral recommendation letter will be required. Please fill out a membership application form and the pastoral team will contact you.
Core Beliefs
- Fountain Gateway Church takes its name from this Bible passage: “For with You is the fountain of life.” (Psalm 36:9a).
- We believe that the Holy Scripture (the Bible) is a complete written record of God’s revelation to mankind and is a divine product fashioned by the Holy Spirit, who inspired and superintended the human writers – 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21
- We believe that the Bible is the only, final, and infallible authority for faith and practice in both public and private life – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- We believe that there is but one living and true God who exists eternally as three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — Matthew 28:19
- We believe that because of the Fall, all men are without any capacity to merit the favor of God. Therefore, we believe that man’s salvation is wholly of God’s grace through the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ – Romans 3:23-24
- We believe that after physical death, there will be bodily resurrection of all people, believers to eternal life and unbelievers to judgment and eternal punishment – Matthew 25:46
- We believe in the literal, personal and bodily return of Jesus Christ to the earth – Acts 1:10-11
- We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by emersion as commanded in the Scriptures and to be observed by all who have repented their sins and have believed on Christ as Savior and Lord – Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:16
- We believe the Lord’s Supper should be observed by born-again believers regularly according to Scripture – 1 Corinthians 11:24,25,28
- We believe that holy matrimony is between one man and one woman and is divinely appointed by God as the foundation for society – Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6
